Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok – Leisure
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and drive towards Gangtok through beautiful hill landscapes. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along MG Marg, explore local shops and cafés, and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of Sikkim’s capital. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2: Gangtok – Lachung
After breakfast, begin the scenic journey towards Lachung in North Sikkim. Travel through mountain roads, waterfalls and picturesque valleys, with sightseeing stops depending on road and weather conditions. On reaching Lachung, check in to your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Day 3: Yumthang Valley Excursion – Gangtok
Start early for an excursion to the spectacular Yumthang Valley, famous for its wide mountain landscapes, river views and seasonal flowers. An optional visit towards Zero Point can be arranged subject to permits, weather and road accessibility. After exploring the valley, return to Lachung and continue the journey back to Gangtok. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4: Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir
After breakfast, proceed for a high-altitude excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Admire the dramatic Himalayan scenery and spend some time around the beautiful glacial lake. Nathula Pass can be added as an optional visit, subject to permits and operational conditions. Return to Gangtok by evening and enjoy some leisure time at MG Marg. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 5: Gangtok – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. The tour concludes with memorable experiences of Gangtok’s lively hill-town charm, Lachung’s mountain scenery and the breathtaking landscapes of Yumthang Valley and Tsomgo Lake.
