Day 1: Arrival in Vijayawada – Local Sightseeing
Arrive at Vijayawada Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. After check-in, visit the revered Kanaka Durga Temple, beautifully located on Indrakeeladri Hill overlooking the Krishna River. Later, explore Prakasam Barrage and selected city attractions depending on available time. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Vijayawada.
Day 2: Vijayawada – Srisailam
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Srisailam, a renowned pilgrimage destination surrounded by the scenic Nallamala Hills. On arrival, check in to your hotel and proceed for darshan at Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple according to temple timings. Later, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and visit selected nearby attractions if time permits. Overnight stay in Srisailam.
Day 3: Srisailam – Gandikota
Begin the morning with breakfast and continue towards Gandikota. Enjoy the changing landscapes of Andhra Pradesh as you travel towards this historic destination on the banks of the Penna River. On arrival, check in to your accommodation and later explore the Gandikota Fort area. Enjoy impressive views of the dramatic gorge, especially around sunset. Overnight stay near Gandikota.
Day 4: Gandikota – Belum Caves – Gandikota
After breakfast, explore the historic structures within Gandikota Fort, including ancient temples, gateways and viewpoints. Later, take an excursion to Belum Caves, known for their fascinating underground passages and natural rock formations. After exploring the caves, return to Gandikota and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay near Gandikota.
Day 5: Gandikota – Departure
After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and proceed towards the nearest convenient railway station or airport as per your onward travel arrangements.
