Day 1: Arrival in Raipur – Jagdalpur
Arrive in Raipur and begin your journey towards Jagdalpur, the cultural heart of the Bastar region. Travel through Chhattisgarh’s scenic countryside and forested landscapes. On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. If time permits, explore the local market and get an introduction to Bastar’s traditional handicrafts and regional culture. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
Day 2: Bastar Cultural & Village Experience
After breakfast, set out for a cultural excursion around the Bastar region. With locally arranged access, visit selected villages to learn about traditional lifestyles, craftsmanship and community practices in a respectful manner. Explore local markets where available and see Bastar’s famous bell-metal, wrought-iron, bamboo and other handicrafts. Return to Jagdalpur for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Chitrakote Falls – Bastar Heritage
Today, visit the magnificent Chitrakote Falls, one of Chhattisgarh’s best-known natural attractions. Spend time enjoying the surrounding landscape before continuing to selected cultural and heritage sites around Bastar. Depending on local schedules, visit artisan communities or a traditional market to gain further insight into the region’s living heritage. Return to Jagdalpur in the evening. Overnight stay in Jagdalpur.
Day 4: Jagdalpur – Raipur – Departure
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey to Raipur. Enjoy the changing scenery of forests, villages and countryside along the way. On arrival, transfer to Raipur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding a memorable tour of Bastar’s cultural traditions, handicrafts and natural beauty.
